Camel crickets are light to dark brown in color and have a hump-back appearance like a… you guessed it, camel. Measuring up to 1 ½ inches in length, this type of cricket has six legs, long antennae, and no wings.

Unlike other types of crickets that chirp, camel crickets are not capable of chirping because they do not have the sound producing organs needed to do so.
